One hen.

Kojo is a  hardworking boy from Ghana who is very poor. When Kojo was a little boy has father passed away.

When his mother receives a loan from some village families, she gives a little money to her son. Kojo had to quit school because he was poor, he saved his money to buy a hen.  And when he had 20 hens he sold the eggs at the market and Kojo ate one egg a week.

Kojo sold his eggs at the market and bought more hens. Kojo studies at school for six months he likes studying.

He had hundreds of hen so he bought a chicken farm. He loves his chicken farm.

Kojo started a trust that gives out small loans to people who cannot get a loan from a bank.  Kojo helped people because started with one hen. He helped his mum. He sold eggs. The eggs help people because there was not much food for everyone so he started to sell eggs at the market. He save his money to buy more hens.
